Nors is a full-service heavy equipment dealership with 11 branches across British Columbia and the Yukon with a head office located in Vernon, British Columbia. Our early roots were primarily in the forestry and construction industries, but over the years we have grown to become a major force in all the heavy equipment segments including mining, oil & gas, scrap and recycling, waste management, utilities, ports, and aggregates.
In 2002 Nors was awarded the Volvo Construction Equipment dealer distribution rights for most of British Columbia and over the ensuing 10 years we grew from one location to four to seven to eleven full-service locations covering all British Columbia and the Yukon. Over the years we have also acquired the province wide distribution rights to Madill Forestry Products, Sennebogen Material Handlers, Metso Crushing and Screening Equipment, and Falcon Forestry Equipment.
In 2024, after being acquired by Nors Group, we have re-branded as Nors along with their global network of dealerships. Nors spans 5 industries, Construction Equipment, Agriculture, Trucks & Busses, Aftermarket and Ventures. At Nors, we are moved by progress, yours and ours. That is why we work to make it work better every day, providing all the services, solutions and equipment you need to bring your life and business closer to success.
To better serve our customers we have three main parts hubs, in Surrey, Vernon and Prince George. These have allowed us to increase our parts inventory and ensure our customers have the parts they needs when they need them. To achieve the level of service our customers have come to expect our Territory Sales Managers, and Service Technicians, all receive ongoing specialized product training from all our OEM partners to keep us at the top of our game. Well trained and well-equipped personnel are available 24/365 to assist our clientele with all their needs.
Great West Equipment supplied all fleet equipment to Terus Construction for the Prince Rupert Port Expansion, moving approximately 3.5 million cubic meters.
