Nors Construction Equipment Canada GW Ltd., a subsidiary of Portuguese-based private company Nors Group (Nors) has acquired some of Canada’s Westcon Equipment assets and becomes the exclusive Volvo Construction Equipment and Sennebogen dealer in the province of Manitoba. The deal closed on January 1, 2025.
Westcon has sold and serviced Volvo CE equipment since 2004 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. A new Nors branch, in Winnipeg, will be located at 193 RailPark Way, CentrePort, Manitoba, and will offer the full Volvo CE product range, including compact, electric, general production, compaction, and rigid hauler products, as well as Sennebogen equipment.
After entering the Canadian market in 2020 with the acquisition of Strongco (now, Nors Construction Equipment Canada ST, LP), and buying Great West Equipment (current Nors Construction Equipment Canada GW, Ltd.) at the beginning of 2024, Nors is now announcing that it is stepping up its investment in the country with these assets acquisition, in the form of an Asset Purchase Deal. As a result, Nors represents Volvo CE and Sennebogen in almost all of Canada, working from east to west.
Present in 17 countries on 4 continents, Nors companies sell and service construction, infrastructure, mining, forestry and agricultural equipment, trucks, buses, and marine and industrial engines.
